SIDEREAL ASTROLOGY

Sidereal astrology is a system that bases your astrological chart on the actual, current positions of the stars and constellations in the sky.
Most people are familiar with the more common tropical astrology, which is anchored to the seasons and the spring equinox.
Sidereal astrology aligns the zodiac signs with the visible constellations as they appear today. This means your planetary placements are calculated according to where the planets and Sun are in relation to the true backdrop of the stars, not where they were over 2,000 years ago.

Reference Point: Sidereal astrology uses the visible sky and constellations, while tropical astrology uses the seasonal cycle and a fixed starting point based on the spring equinox
Precession of the Equinoxes: Over thousands of years, the Earth's axis has shifted—a phenomenon called precession—causing the tropical zodiac to drift about one sign ahead of the actual constellations.
Sidereal astrology corrects for this shift, so your Sun, Moon, and planetary signs may be about 23–24 degrees (almost a full sign) earlier than in tropical charts
